1. What is FASTE Sports Testing?

FASTE Sports Testing offers a comprehensive set of performance assessments designed to measure your fitness, agility, strength, explosiveness, and tempo. Our tests help athletes of all levels track their physical performance and compare results with peers, teammates, and others in the community.

2. Who can take part in FASTE Sports Testing?

Our testing is suitable for athletes of all ages, genders, and performance levels. Whether you’re a beginner, a recreational athlete, or a professional, FASTE provides valuable insights into your physical capabilities.

3. How do I book a testing session?

You can easily book a testing session by emailing us on support@fastest.ie or calling on 089 228 7034. Simply choose your preferred time and location, and we will come to you. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us directly.

4. Where do the testing sessions take place?

We come to you! We recommend incorporating the FASTE Sports Testing programme into one of your regular training sessions to make it more convenient and reduce travel time. Alternatively, we can arrange a suitable location for your testing.

5. How long does a testing session take?

Each team testing session, with up to 25 individuals tested typically lasts approximately 90 minutes, depending on the number of tests performed. We aim to keep the sessions efficient while ensuring accurate and thorough assessments.

6. What is the FASTE Score?

The FASTE Score is a composite score derived from your performance across five key areas: Fitness, Agility, Strength, Tempo, and Explosiveness. It provides a clear picture of your overall physical performance and allows you to track your progress over time.

7. How often should I take the tests?

We recommend taking the tests regularly—every few months—to monitor your progress and adjust your training plan accordingly. This helps you stay motivated and focused on your performance goals.

8. Is the testing accessible for individuals with disabilities or special needs?

We are committed to inclusivity. If you or someone you know has specific requirements, please contact us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

9. Can I compare my results with others?

Yes! As a FASTE member, you can compare your results with others in your age group, sport, or general fitness level. This benchmarking feature helps you see how you rank within your community and motivates you to improve.

10. Who can see my test results?

You and your team manager, if you grant them viewing rights over your data. We recommend that when completing the testing as a team that the team grants viewing rights to their manager to ensure they can have a full overview of the squad. No one else can see your individual test scores.

11. How much does the testing cost?

We believe in offering value for money. Our prices are kept affordable to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has access to performance testing. For specific pricing, please check our Pricing Page or contact us directly.

12. What should I bring to a testing session?

You don’t need to bring anything special—just wear comfortable workout clothes, your normal footwear if you train on grass or astro and bring a water bottle. We recommend a light warm-up before the session to ensure you’re ready for the tests.

13. How can I track my progress over time?

As a FASTE member, you’ll have access to a personalized dashboard where you can track your performance scores, compare results from different testing sessions, and monitor improvements in key areas over time.

14. What does each session look like?

After you do a brief warm up you will receive an overview and demonstration of the tests. We will also complete a brief safety overview to ensure individuals are aware of any potential risks associated with the tests. From there we will measure your height and weight and divide up the team into smaller groups. Each group will rotate between our 5 different testing areas until everyone is complete.

15. When do I get my results?

Whilst some results will be known and available during the session we endeavour to return the entire team’s results within 48 hours. An email will be sent to everyone informing them of their individual performance. Sign up to become a FASTE member to unlock more detailed comparisons.

16. What types of payments do you accept?

We accept a wide range of payment methods for your convenience. Our Revolut card reader supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and contactless payments. We also accept cash, although card payments are preferred for faster and smoother transactions.
